Okay more update, I have to try to catch up!!
So, Last week was filled up with school. I'm lying, it wasn't, we only had 3 days of school instead of the 4 days. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday was the Kyudai School festival, held on Ito Campus. I was lazy and did not go :( Monday is always off and then Tuesday was a national Holiday, so no school then!
Did I do anything productive? Must kind of say neeeeryeah. I did go around Fukuoka and Tenjin with Charlotte and Ashley, since a lot of people decided to go somewhere else. Tokyo, Osaka, Korea...
I had a lot of fun in good ol' Fukuoka. I saw Kashii Shrine and nice shops, tried to plan the awesome trip and had some small amounts of alcohol. Oh almost forgot! also went to a Neko Café! that was the cutest thing ever! Made me not miss my cat as much! So this is how it works: You go in and play with cats! They are everywhere! walking around your table, sitting in empty chairs at your table and playing with your toes! Cat toys are provided so you can jump around with the cats... Yay! For only 100 yen you can feed the cats some chicken, and boy do they like it!!! They are all over you trying to snatch some chickywicky!
Enough on that. Thursday was Thanksgiving, not that I really cared, but we decided that it would be awesome to have a Thanksgiving meal. The notice was too short, so we moved Thanksgiving to Friday. A lot of people decided to join, so it was kind of a pot luck party! We had rice, Korean noodles, pumpkin soup, corn bread made by me and Ayana in a RICECOOKER!, naan bread, beef, mac and cheese, chicken, pancakes and sweet potato pie with marshmallows on top! I had great time with great people for my very first thanksgiving!
After dinner, we were so full so we watched the weirdest movie ever... it was a anime called Mind Games and oh my cod, how wonderfully strange it was. I dare ya to watch it! Well we kind of couldn't finish it, because we were so tired after the feast!
Erm, I have found a couple of more things that annoy me about Japan:
1. everything is so goddamn sweet!! The bread, the food, the everything!
2. The bread! There are no words! sweet, white and so soft... Now I have to travel all the way to Tenjin to get real bread!
3. Sidewalks! everyone bikes... still the curbs are so high that you get a concussion when you hit them, and you fall off the bike if you are going to slow.
So, it seems that I caught up! Amazing!
One more thing here, I was having lunch with my tutor yesterday and we were talking about Christmas, so I was explaining that in Iceland we had not only one Santa, but 13!! And that they all had names which described them... I found out while explaining that they are in fact very creepy...slamming doors, peeping through windows and eating your leftovers! Not forgetting the one that steal sheep and can't bend his legs...
Enough nonsense!
